Levana Naturals Review and GIVEAWAY!

Today I’ve got an excellent review and giveaway for you, from Levana Naturals!  They are an organic baby clothing company.  Who doesn’t love organic clothing?!  The cardigan pictured above was sent to me to review.  It is extremely soft and well made.  I love it!  And my son loves it.  My daughter?  She’s picky right now, into clothes that are pink and purple, so she didn’t love it.  Oh well….

That cardigan happens to come in three different colors.  They’re all “natural” colors (shades of white and tan) because they’re color grown — not dyed.  These clothes are also completely fair traded.

Sounds awesome, right?  Here’s some more information from Levana Naturals:

a)     Besides looking at the fiber, we place an emphasis on the manufacturing process. There seems to be a disconnection between the fibers used and the finished product. People don’t think about the long process (washing, spinning, weaving or knitting, bleaching, dying or printing, to applying finishing agents such as flame retardants, resins to give textiles bulk or make them crease resistant or finishes to prevent shrinking) that turns cotton balls into fabrics. Even organic textile producers might use toxic dyes and finishes like flame retardants or formaldehyde in their manufacturing process. These can pass through baby’s delicate skin and build up in tissue or enter the blood stream. (see attached press release)

b)    Weprovide measurements for most of our items on our website to ensure the clothes actually fit.
