Recipe Collection: Cinnamon Crackers

The other day I really wanted some cinnamon crackers, and I needed something quick.  I threw this together and they were yummy, not too sweet, and good for snacks.  They are a bit crumbly, so be aware if you make these for snacks for kids!

Ingredients:

  • 2 c. sprouted flour
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 c. sucanat
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. milk (or so)

Directions:

Mix together all the dry ingredients (flour through cinnamon) in a large glass bowl.  Cut in butter.  Add milk a small amount at a time, stirring until you get a soft dough.

Spread the cracker dough (using plenty of flour on your hands so the dough doesn’t stick) on a large, 16×20 cookie sheet.  Bake at 350 for 15 min.  Cutting with a knife or pizza cutter immediately, then allow it to cool.
