Recipe Collection: Ginger-Peach Crisp

Peaches are plentiful this time of year.  Combining them with ginger makes a sophisticated, delicate, and delicious dessert — and very simple, too!

Ingredients:

  • 2 – 3 large peaches, thinly sliced (peeled if desired)
  • 3 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground ginger
  • 2/3 c. almond flour (or sprouted flour)
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/8 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. honey

Directions:

In a small baking dish (about 7”), place peaches.  Dot with butter and drizzle with honey and ginger.  In a small glass bowl, mix almond flour, spices, butter, and honey.  Sprinkle this mixture over the peaches and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Serve warm, with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.

  1. Sounds yummy, might try this tonight! I have never ground ginger before, any tips on doing that?
