Christmas Giveaways: Bob’s Red Mill

Welcome to our Week of Giveaways! This is our way of saying “Merry Christmas” to our readers. We think you’re all awesome and wanted to give you a Christmas gift — so all week, you’ll have the chance to win amazing prizes! There will be two different prizes per day, one posted at 8 AM and one at 2 PM EST. Each will have 7 different ways you can enter (all optional). Bob’s Red Mill is a company that is dedicated to gluten-free products. It used to be that there weren’t so many options out there for gluten-free families, and Bob’s was one of the first companies to change that. They make all their products in dedicated gluten-free facilities, meaning they are safe for those who have severe intolerances. They make a number of different types of flour, as well as lots of different types of mixes, for those are newer to gluten-free baking.

Bob’s Red Mill also makes an “all purpose” gluten-free flour that you can sub for regular all purpose flour in most recipes! We have baked with this a handful of times and have had good results. Our most recent experiment was with some cinnamon muffins a few months ago and they were very yummy! Although they had a slightly different flavor than wheat would (due to the bean flours in the mix — and we enjoyed this flavor), I don’t think most people would have known they were gluten-free if they weren’t told. These products are a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite bread products without the gluten.

We just moved here from Australia and I’m still finding brands and sorting prices. I have tried some of Bob’s Read Mill’s products via Kroger but would like to try more!
