Natural Health
Natural health. It’s a big reason why we’re all here, isn’t it? To learn how to care for ourselves as naturally and drug-free as possible. This section is dedicated to all the post I’ve done on natural health.

Hey there MAM! I just had a question – feel free to poll fb too.
My family and I are a week into GF/Preservative free/processed food free, etc and we are all experiencing some serious, regular tummy trouble. This is definitely something we are choosing to do, no allergies or anything, but we really want to continue. Do you think this is just a natural “Detox?” Has anyone else experienced this?? Is there something we can do to ease the transition?
Thanks!!
I have a friend whose 2 year old daughter has food allergies to dairy, eggs & nuts. She is looking for ways to boost protein content but doesn’t want to overuse organic soy milk – especially with all the stuff about soy coming to light right now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks…
I would suggest skipping the soy and going for coconut milk, which is full of healthy fats and is safe with those allergies. I would also suggest pastured meat and beans as sources for healthy protein. Whole grains are also decent sources of protein. Plus, protein isn’t needed as much as we think it is, it should be more more than 20 – 25% of the total calories.
I am 14 weeks pregnant and just developed a cold sore after getting a sun burn on my face. What are some natural methods I can use to help it go away? Thanks for your help!
